Will my health insurance cover Nutritionist services?
If you have private health insurance, please check with your fund to ensure they cover Nutrition Consultations and the amount that they cover. After consultation, I will email you a receipt to claim directly with your insurer. I am registered with all funds that offer Nutrition Consultation rebates, as long as you have the right level of cover, you will be able to claim a percentage of the fee back.
What forms of payment does Matar Health take?
We accept payment by cash or card on the day of the consult.
What is a Nutritionist?
At Matar Health our Nutritionist’s attain a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Science- Nutritional Medicine. Our health professionals take a holistic approach to your health, aiming to discover and address the underlying root cause of health concerns as well as offering symptomatic relief. We predominately use food as medicine, and high quality practitioner only nutritional supplements where indicated. We utilise Best Practice, allowing our patients both researched based treatments and clinical expertise to get the best health outcome.
